Birmingham Children’s Theatre, one of the nation’s oldest and largest professional theatre companies for young audiences, offers performing arts camps for children of all ages. BCT’s Summer Camps are an excellent way for youth ages 4 to 18 to collaborate with other campers and learn skills that will benefit them in the classroom and beyond. With sessions throughout June and July and offerings for all ages, we have something for everyone this summer at BCT!

BCT’s Imagination Party offers one-week half-day camps for children ages four to seven. Using a variety of themes as springboards, campers explore story-telling, art, song, instrument play, and imagination. Through these various drama, music, movement, and visual art activities, these classes promote confidence, self-esteem, and creative expression while working on developmental skills such as active listening and sharing.
One week, half-day camps (9am - 12pm) for ages 4-6
5 sessions available throughout June & July
An immersive experience in a variety of performance areas, Players Studio campers have the opportunity to engage with the theatrical process giving them an opportunity to learn, grow, and discover new interests and talents.Campers will also have the opportunity to perform in a one act play! While working within the framework of the theatrical process, these students will learn to collaborate with cast mates and expand their communication skills.
Two week, full-day camps (9am - 4pm) for ages 7-10
3 sessions available throughout June & July
SUMMER YOUTH PRODUCTION
Join us for Spark Summer Youth Production, where creativity, collaboration, and fun come together! This exciting camp offers young performers the chance to explore the world of theater through acting, movement, and stagecraft. Spark Summer Camp provides an inclusive and supportive environment for all talents.
The location and show details will be announced soon, but rest assured, it's going to be an unforgettable experience filled with learning, growth, and performance.
